JDL are covering the headers for sure, with free return shipping!!! I am a happy camper! Also, I would like to point out that if something looks good on a race car(bolted on fenders, widened arcs, and wings) doesn't mean it will look good on a road car. Most of the time it looks like it is trying to hard. For example. . .

Although this looks nice, I feel like if they toned down the aggression it would have been prefect. Also, a race car is all function. So when it adds giant arcs it is because it needs them. . . not so it can look good, which in turn makes them look awesome. Like it just don't care.

Good point. Great to hear about the header company. A little bit of goodness will follow them. I would recommend them based on your testimonial.

They are a small company, so their parts do take some time but it is well worth the wait. Plus, they are extremely helpful.

What happened with your headers? Sorry I missed a couple of weeks of Oppo. . .

They just brush the oil pan. In any case, if JDL's word is true they should start making my replacement headers soonish!

Any word on when they'll be done?

Hopefully they'll make yours high priority.

That sucks, that is the problem with hand built parts though. Something must of gotten tweaked just a little bit on the jig during welding, or the jig got tweaked just a little bit during welding. . . Or maybe the welder was doing a jig while welding your header. . .

It could be anywhere from a few weeks to 2 months or so. Depends on when they get the batch of 15 done.

The problem seemed to pop up recently. One of their welders said that they are going to adjust the jig so that this doesn't ever happen.

I have to ask (since I just ordered a set) if you're satisfied with the replacement header. I vaguely remember talking to you about them way back, and I finally decided to buy one, lol

Yes sir I am. They fit perfectly and the quality was still the same, and shipping was free as well! I would recommend them to anyone!

Sweet, thanks! Unfortunately shipping wasn't free, and considering I'd like to actually install them this year I wasn't going to wait around for a sale and end up at the back of a three month waiting list. Two is bad enough :P

To be fair mine was only a month wait, and the second one was also a month wait. It honestly wasn't that long. And I don't mind waiting, it isn't like I needed them RIGHT now. They were just a fun part to have!

I'm not in a big rush either, to be honest. I have to pay for body shop work before they arrive anyhow :(
